About the course

Take time from the busyness of modern life to remember your ancestral way of being in the world. Our Celtic Ancestors lived in close relationship with the natural world, embedding their daily tasks in prayer and  the rhythms of their lives in ceremony.  There was an intimacy with the plants, animals and spirits of the place hard to imagine in modern life. However, these ways are not dead.  Rather they are available to all who choose to pick up this sacred birthright again. We will reopen the doorway to the sacred relationship with nature through meditation, quiet time in nature and ancestral Celtic spiritual practices like the Wheel of Life. Working with our ancestors we'll practice the ability to communicate with plants, explore "thin" times and places,  and join all of nature in ceremonies of honoring and healing the rift between humanity and nature.

Like our ancestors we will live in community. Our retreat headquarters is a comfortable home on beautiful Diamond Ridge with tent and camper parking space for those coming from out of town. A  yurt and bunk room with a full bathroom to serve them are also available to share on a first come, first serve basis. If you prefer, we can refer you to fine nearby Bed and Breakfasts that can be quite affordable when sharing. Bring food for cooperatively prepared meals and any foods particular to your personal needs.  A supply list, carpool options and directions will be provided upon registration.

Cost: $225
